A Typical School Day at Queenswell Infant and Nursery School

8:50 am Gates open
8:55am Morning school begins
10:25am Morning play
11:00am Assembly
12:00pm Lunchtime
1:00pm  Afternoon school begins
3:25pm  School ends
Total hours: 32 hours, 30 minutes.  

Seedlings 2 Year Old Nursery

  • Morning Nursery opens at 8:45 am and finishes at 11:45 am (total time 15 hours)
  • Afternoon Nursery opens from 12:45 pm to 3:45 pm (total time 15 hours)

Woodlands 3 Year Old Nursery

  • Morning Nursery opens at 8:45 am and finishes at 11:45 am (total time 15 hours)
  • Afternoon Nursery opens from 12:45 pm to 3:45 pm (total time 15 hours)

For children who attend 30 hours per week, the nursery opens at 8.45 am and finishes at 2.45 pm.

Breakfast Club is available for all children from 7:45 am, and the After-School Club is available until 6:00 pm
