Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome to our new class page! We are looking forward to a fabulous, fun filled remainder of the Autumn term. Below, you will find information about homework and routines, our class timetables, the year group curriculum letter, and our class assembly dates. There are also links to helpful resources and websites.
Homework & Routines
Homework will be set on Thursday and should be completed by the following Monday. Homework will include assignments on SATs companion, spelling homework, times tables practice on TT Rockstars, and daily reading.
Reading at home is very valuable, and we encourage children to read regularly as part of their homework. Around 30 minutes each evening is recommended. However, please do not read the class texts on which their learning journeys are based at home. We will enjoy reading them with the children in school. Thank you.
These are our homework expectations:
- Reading daily (20-30 minutes every day).
- Spellings are to be learnt and will be tested once a week.
- Times Table Rockstars at least once a week.
Please ensure that your child brings their Reading Record into school, with a comment, each day.
Things to remember:
Children should come to school in their PE kits on their PE days. Year 6 have their PE on:

Monday is indoor PE.

Tuesday is outdoor PE.
PE kit should include a dark tracksuit, joggers or shorts, a white T-shirt, and trainers.
