Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to our Woodpecker Class! We hope you had a lovely summer holiday and are looking forward to an exciting new school year ahead. Below, you will find information about homework and routines, our class timetables, the year group curriculum letter, and our class assembly dates. There are also links to helpful resources and websites.

Homework & Routines

Homework will be set on Fridays and should be completed by the following Wednesday. This will include English, Maths or a foundation lesson.

Reading at home is incredibly valuable, and we strongly encourage children to read regularly as part of their homework. Around 10-15 minutes each evening is recommended. 

Things to remember:

Children should come to school in PE kits on their PE days. PE kit should include dark tracksuit joggers or shorts, a white T-shirt and trainers.
