Junior School Admission
All admissions are administered by the London Borough of Barnet.
Most children who attend Queenswell Infant and Nursery School choose to transfer to Queenswell Junior School. Parents must make an application to join the junior school, but have a high level of priority. Other available places are allocated according to the London Borough of Barnet admission criteria and procedures.
A full transition programme is in place between the infant and junior schools, and children new to the school in Year 3 are also invited to visit and spend time with their new class.
Queenswell Junior School has 60 places in each year group from Year 3 to Year 6. On very rare occasions and only for special circumstances, e.g., looked after children, children with EHCPs, we will occasionally go over numbers in classes. Our oversubscription criteria is managed by the London Borough of Barnet.

If you wish to apply for a place Queenswell Junior School outside the usual admissions period, you will need to apply online with the London Borough of Barnet.
