This week our school enjoyed World Art Day by exploring a variety of different artists. In Year 4, we explored the work of Henri Matisse, with a focus on his use of bold, vibrant colours and distinct shapes to create simple yet powerful art. The children made their own versions of Matisse cut-outs after designing them.
