Marvellous Middle Summer-1

In Science, we learnt about plants. We explored how plants grow and what they need to stay healthy, including water, sunlight, air, and nutrients from the soil. To help us understand these ideas, we carried out a range of practical experiments.

For example, we investigated how different amounts of water and light affect plant growth. We also planted our own beans and observed them carefully as they grew over time.

In addition, we explored how water travels through plants and learnt about the roles of the roots, stems, and leaves. During our investigations, we developed important scientific skills such as making predictions, observing changes, and recording our results clearly.

These experiments helped us to ask questions, test our ideas, and explain what we discovered.

Overall, this topic helped us to understand how plants live and grow, and how scientists use experiments to learn more about the world.
