Welcome to the Queenswell Houses!

Everyone in the Queenswell Community is part of a team! The four houses are named after beautiful gemstones that match the house colours: Red, Blue, Yellow, and Green. Belonging to a house means you'll work together, earn tokens for your team, and cheer each other on in competitions. In Year 6, you can even apply to be a House Captain, a super important job!

These are our four gemstone houses:

❤️ Ruby House (Red)

The Ruby is a bright red stone, just like the house colour! Rubies are very famous and are known as a symbol of energy, courage, and passion. Rubies are one of the most precious gemstones in the world and are often used in special jewellery, especially crowns!

💙 Sapphire House (Blue)

The Queenswell children chose the beautiful, deep blue Sapphire gemstone to match the house colour! Sapphires are often linked to wisdom, truth, and loyalty. People have loved these stones for centuries. They are very strong stones and are so tough that they are sometimes even used in special scientific equipment!

💛 Citrine House (Yellow)

A Citrine is a bright, sunny yellow gemstone, perfect for the yellow house colour! Citrines are known to represent joy, happiness, and success. Because of its sunny colour, it's often called the "sunshine stone."

💚 Emerald House (Green)

An Emerald is a beautiful, vivid green stone, chosen to match the green house colour! Emeralds are often associated with nature, growth, and balance. They are very rare and have been worn by royalty throughout history. They also sparkle beautifully!
