      Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to our new class page! We are looking forward to a fabulous, fun filled remainder of the Autumn term. Below, you will find information about homework and routines, our class timetables, the year group curriculum letter, and our class assembly dates. There are also links to helpful resources and websites.

      Homework & Routines

Phonics homework will be given on Friday and should be completed by the following Thursday. Your child will receive a new Little Wandle reading book every Monday and they will also bring home a library book in their book bag every week. Please take the time to share these books with them. Your child must read their Little Wandle book every day and a daily comment must be written about how they have read in their reading record. Reading at home is very valuable.

Please ensure that your child brings their book bag in everyday with their reading book and reading record.

Tapestry allows you to view your child’s photos, videos and observations made by the staff. You have the opportunity to reply to comments that the teacher has made and upload your own photos or videos from home, which we would love to see. We hope this will enhance our partnership with you in providing your child with the best learning opportunities possible.

      Important Dates:

      • Goldsmith's University of London assembly date: tbc

      • Goldsmith's University of London Class trip: The Arts Depot The Tiger Who Came to Tea           5th December 2025

We hope the above is useful. If you have any questions or require any help, please contact me via class email reception@northsidesch.org or the class phone.

Thank you for your continued support.

      Happy Learning!

      Kind regards.
