Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome to year 2! We hope you had a lovely summer holiday and are looking forward to an exciting new school year ahead. Below, you will find information about homework and routines, our class timetables, the year group curriculum letter, and our class assembly dates. There are also links to helpful resources and websites.
These are our homework expectations:
- Reading Adventure Reading Road Map or levelled book daily (10-20 minutes every day).
- Spelling homework is to be completed each week on the Spelling Shed website.
- Maths homework to be completed each week on the MyMaths website.
Please ensure that your child brings their Book Bag and Reading Record into school every day.
Homework will be set on a Friday and should be completed by the following Wednesday please.
Things to remember:
Daily: Return reading bag.
Children should come to school in PE kits on their PE days. Year 2 will be doing PE on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
PE kit should include dark tracksuit joggers or shorts, white T-shirt and trainers.
