Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome to our new class page! We are looking forward to a fabulous, fun filled remainder of the Autumn term. Below, you will find information about homework and routines, our class timetable, the year group curriculum letter, and our class assembly date. There are also links to helpful resources and websites.
Homework & Routines
Homework will be set on Fridays and should be completed by the following Wednesday. This will include English, Maths or a foundation lesson.
Reading at home is incredibly valuable, and we strongly encourage children to read regularly as part of their homework. Around 10-15 minutes each evening is recommended. However, please do not read the class texts on which their learning journeys are based at home. We will enjoy reading these with the children in school. Thank you for your cooperation with this.
Things to remember:
Children should come to school in PE kits on their PE days. Woodpecker Class have their PE on:
Thursday is indoor PE.
Friday is outdoor PE.
PE kit should include dark tracksuit joggers or shorts, a white T-shirt and trainers.
