It is my privilege to welcome you to our Junior School—a vibrant, multicultural and multi-faith community where every child is valued and celebrated. Our motto, “Enjoy, Endeavour, Achieve Together,” reflects our commitment to creating an environment where pupils love learning, develop resilience, and succeed as part of a supportive team achieving above average expectations in the national assessments at the end of Year 6.
We live by our core values of determination, responsibility, equality, respect, compassion, and humour. These values shape our culture and guide our pupils to become confident, caring individuals who make a positive difference in the world; building even further the strengths of the Infant and Nursery School.
We are proud that Ofsted (June 2023) recognised the strength of our community, stating
“Leaders have developed a culture that is caring and welcoming. Pupils experience a strong sense of community. They enjoy learning and are kind to each other. Staff know all pupils very well and have built positive working relationships with them. Pupils are safe and happy in the school.”
We are proud of our beautiful, green site, surrounded by nature, which provides the perfect setting for our Forest School curriculum. Here, children explore the outdoors, build resilience, and develop a deep connection with the natural world.
We warmly welcome visits to our school. Come and see the joy of learning in action—we look forward to meeting you.
Warm regards,
Mrs Longworth
Executive Headteacher
